Sochi 2014 Marketing Program
It is only through joint efforts that it is possible make the 2014 Games truly successful: through the efforts of the Sochi 2014 Organizing Committee and companies that are among its partners. Their financial contributions, the latest technologies and designs, and, most importantly, the personal involvement of executives and ordinary employees alike - all these factors will become parts of an integral success of the 2014 Games.
Since the launch of the program in 2009, the Sochi 2014 Organizing Committee has attracted about 1.3 billion dollars in financial investments, over 3 times the Bid Book commitment. This is 1.5 times greater than the earnings of the Vancouver Games Organizing Committee throughout its entire existence. As such, the Sochi 2014 Organizing Committee became the most successful Winter Games Organizing Committee in the history of the Olympic movement.
The right to use Olympic and Paralympic Marks in Russia is held only by the Worldwide Partners of the IOC and IPC, the Sochi 2014 National Partners at all tiers, as well as companies which have signed a corresponding licensing agreement with the Sochi 2014 Organizing Committee. This regulatory provision is envisaged in the "Olympic Law" Code (Federal Law No. 310-FZ of 12/01/2007).
Worldwide Partners IOC are the companies which have entered into an agreement with the IOC for several four-year cycles. The Sochi 2014 Organizing Committee also offers several tiers of the National Partnership Program, signing agreements with its partner-companies for the right to be associated with the Olympic and Paralympic Games in Sochi on Russian territory.
